ANALYSIS OF “DID SAMUEL JAMES COME FROM SURRY COUNTY”?
This analysis was done before I went to Orange County and did the resesarch to prove that Samuel James came from Orange County rather than Surry County. This analysis was done after my first trip to North Carolina when I was trying to prove or disprove the information from Frederick James’ article that said Samuel James and John Dean had been neighbors in Surry County.
